The Poul Cadovius Pia chair, originating from the original 1958 model, is a highly sought-after and exceptionally rare first edition. This chair embodies the "less is more" philosophy, prioritizing minimal material consumption while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and ensuring excellent comfort.

Its slender, conical-shaped solid wooden legs contribute to a visually lightweight design, accentuated by two exquisite features: the hand-sanded rounding at the top of the back legs and the finger-joined front legs. Crafted with precision, the seat is intricately hand-woven from paper cordel, while the backrest is molded to optimize seating comfort. The labor-intensive process, taking two hours solely for hand-weaving the seat, underscores the chair's time-consuming production, demanding patience and a high level of accuracy.

Note: These chairs are completely out of production and very rare to find in Teak. Reproductions are being made but not in teak, and each chair runs $1431. Why buy a remake when you can buy the original 1958 set!
