This extremely fashionable late 1960's / 1970's armchair is a complete stunner. It is attributed to Bruno Mathsson for Dux, and we speculate it is a variation of the Karin model lounge chair from 1969-1973. Other than the sticker that reads, "MADE IN SWEDEN", There are not any markings, as is quite common with vintage Bruno Mathsson for Dux chairs, so we cannot be sure what exact model this chair is.

This extremely one-of-a-kind rare chair is way under market value for a chair of this caliber of this era because the upholstery is not perfect. What a super sweet shaped, chrome mid century lounge chair! And what an opportunity to reupholster it however you wish-- though the chic original vintage character may be just what you are looking for.

This lounge chair features a gorgeous, unusual, sculptural chrome frame, and the original suede material upholstered cushions and armrests. This is a classic mid century modern lounge chair and will go perfect with many different decors from MCM to Hollywood Regency.

Condition: Overall good vintage condition, and quite comfortable padding. This chair was well made. It would be incredible when reupholstered, but already looks awesome as is. Fabric does have a couple of marks, as pictured, and it is authentic and wonderful all around.

The cushions and armrests would be very easy to reupholster with your own upholsterer. We do have an excellent upholsterer that we can get a hold of for you from here, if you would like help with this.
