Stunning, and very rare sleek postmodern elegant designer chrome and mirrored King platform bed by O.B. Solie for ELLO furniture. Ello is a very famous company from the 80s that created very limited edition cult mirrored furniture, and it is now very rare to find.

Good Vintage Condition, kept very clean, from the 1980s.

Images 10+11 show how you may wish to add lighting below the bed, as other designers have done with this bed. Image 12, show an ad of another O.B. Solie for Ello bed of this same period. Cult classic bed.

The king-size platform is edged in a thick band of polished chrome and rests on a recessed chrome base, giving it a floating effect. The mirrored headboard is incredibly sleek and beautifully made.

This beautiful, minimalist design without end tables, allows for customizable lighting on either side of the bed and the platform bed appears as a sculpture in the room. Some designers have also decided to light the bed underneath-- to create a glowing effect. This bed is truly a jaw dropper.

The mattress that fits in this bed frame is a King Mattress, 76" x 80" (193cm x 203.2cm). Mattress not included.
